ICESYS has been developed as a secure Fixed Anchor Ground Station, to provide base data facilities and management services for multiple deployed platforms. (Outreach and Nucleus)

It has been designed as a Virtualised Point of Presence, evolving into a multi-point of presence in its own right to enable site clustering, federation, failover and redundancy. The system is communication bearer agnostic and able to use a number of bearers to support silo style system continuity.

ICESYS is highly scalable and configurable and can accept and support multiple communication feeds from all CoDES platforms and is designed to coexist with current strategic systems and business servers.   It can interoperate with most Instant Messaging gateways and hubs and It is easily installed, meeting all security, Tempest and electronic regulations.
